I want a ruin on a street corner
what I want to know is: how do the walls look like?
are they plastered or dìdn`t the russian people do that and is it just a plain brick wall
what are the colours of the walls.

are there any links where I can find this out or has somebody got some reference photo`s
I would be pleased to hear something the can help me on the way.

One possible idea is watching the new movie Enemy at the Gates. I thought the scenes were really well done, plus it's about snipers. If you have DVD, you can pause the picture and still see it well, so you can get a good look at it. You can even zoom in and such.
