Well, I was going to put my StuG IV in this mud diorama, but it's not deep enough, so I decided to use the Demag I been working on for ages. I finaly got the winter camo as I wanted it, and it gives me a good change to try the Woodland Scenics Snow which I recently bought. I have always used baking soda, so this is a bit of a departure for me.
Anyway, here is an overall shot, there will be some figures on it, and some (dead ?) vegetation on the right edge. The tape on the edge has not yet been removed.
All comments and suggestions are much appreciated.
Cheers
Henk

Looks superb! I like the realistic snow/mud wery much, especially that "wettened" snow and the footprints on the side! I'll bet it will look great with figs!

I'd only be echoing what Pedro said about the snow, mud and foot prints, but it needs to be said, nice job! I know a lot of folks don't take the mud as far as you did. But I appreciate it very much.

Thanks guys, looks like you feel it's going in the right direction. I'm still getting used to this 'Snow', it doesn't work like baking soda, but needs to be applied in thin layers, each being sealed with diluted PVA glue.
There'll be a lot more mud before it's finished Easyoff, I like lots of mud.. :-)
John, this is indeed the Italeri kit, I recommend it, it's cheap, fairly accurate, with link and length tracks. I find these perfect for these kind of dio's where you cover the kit either in mud/snow or in camouflage.
Cheers
