Great work so far. I love to keep up with SBS's like this. One thought: what do you think about the chair being covered by the rubble instead of on top of it, like the grandfather clock?

It looks really good, but you have a crazy pattern goin. All of the rubble is in the middle of the floor. I say put some towards the sides and on the sides of the wall.

It looks very promising indeed. Is is a coin of some kind above the window? Its an astonishing level of detail for such a big diorama.

I agree with other posters that the rubble should be closer to the corner on the third floor with a hole in it.

And why is there rubble in the middle of the first and second floor? Perhaps furniture moved away, tilted or used as barricades would be an option?

Hi guys
thanks for the comments, im having to be slightly careful with the placing of the rubble as i have more furniture and other equipment to go in (plus figures), the rubble on the second floor is due to the holes in the floor, the rubble on the first floor is what has been blown in, fallen through windows, down stairs etc (although slightly less).

The first floor also has funiture stacked against the windows, but i have had to paint seperatly due to confined space i have to work in, inside the building.

The item over the window is a button i found at a craft shop, i picked up half a dozen different ones and that one looked ideal once in place.

cheers

Keith nice vision, I like the design. This one will hold a lot of interest for the viewer. Judging by your other works, I would say this is "still in the works" I will be anxious to see the end results. Nice detailing so far I'm noting quite a few nice touches (subtle details) to the building. Good work. Keep us up to date.

That looks really good so far.

The only thing I can see that could be off are the damaged areas shingles.
Are they to be stone or wood?

If stone they would be broken up a lot more as stone shingles tend to shatter.

If wood I don’t think the row with the exposed top would have the shingles lining up.
The sides of wood shingles are in a wedge shape with the top very thin the tops of then would be prone to cracking ans splintering.

Its still very well done and I look forward to seeing more pictures of it.

Ola Keith

Well the plong wait was worth it to finally see another great set of in progress shots of this project. Well I can't really think of much criticism. All looks cleanly built and well thought out.
I can say your point with the rubble on the second and first floor but in one way or another it looks kinda odd, It looks like the para's put it there for some reason.
That is really the only thing I can think of... looking forward to the next update
