Hi Scott!
Thanks for sharing (again another excellent work!).
Yes I was "lucky" to access the gallery when you're just uploading them - I could tell it was Demchenko's work!
And... curious as I am, I couldn't resist and see all the pics
Demchenko, another excellent work!
Layout masterly done, good composition, good horizontal and vertical balance, excellent figure painting and excellent vegetation!
Where in the layout is the knealing guy?
I couldn't see it.. is he on the rear of the squad?
Congratulations for another mind blowing dio!

I cannot get over the tiger stripes. How do you paint them so perfectly? Your vegetations is right on the money as well. Excellent project!

That is an awesome diorama. You obviously put tons of work into it. That amount of vegetation cramped onto that base is unbelievable. It really gives the viewer the feeling of what being there must have been like. The main tree with all the vines, moss and stuff hanging off of it is particularly good. Keep up the great work! Oh, and I love how I can just see the whites at the bottom of the figure's eyes.

That is some stellar work! The level of detail in the tiger stripe is unbelievable. How in the world was that done???
No time to write...gotta go practice!

Many thanks,guys!
I was made this dio during 1998-1999 years.
80% of all plants are maden from matt thin tracing-papir.
I airbrushed pieces with many tones of green and cut foliage with
little scissor. To my mind tracing papir is better than (for example)
photoetched plants, cause we can get semi-transparence foliage.
Light and air are playing great role for jungle imitation.
Also I used some dry real plants, branches etc.
Tiger Stripes of both types (JWP standard and JWP silver) were painted with sable brush №2.

Very impressive work Vladimir.
10 out of 10, for figures and camo,
10 out of 10 for all the vegetation and
10 out of 10 for the layout.
The height used in the centre, but using it off centre, surrounded by smaller plants, incorporating the Verlinden Buddha is awesome. It all is so natural.
The perfect dio in my books. No nit-picks.
Very inspiring work ... its always a treat to see!

The facial features, uniforms, and overall composition are excellent, which has been stated already... i want to call special attention to the excellent skin tones of the figures- outstanding work! Kinda reminds me of "the good old days"
