I've been working away at my Pz IV H for a while and it's coming along pretty well. During this time I've been trying to figure out what I wanted for a paint scheme. I came across a photo yesterday of a Pz IV H or J with an ambush paint scheme similar to the King Tiger.
Is this my imagination or has anyone else seen this? It would look pretty cool if it's accurate.

there are a number of great books on the Mk IV. Ambush camo was fairly common in the waining days of the war. I cannot remember seeing a Mk IV in 'Ambush' although it is quite possible. Anyway go with the ambush and best of luck.

Drop me an e-mail ([email protected]) and I'll send you a color image of a Panzer IV in a modified ambush scheme from April 1945. This is from Jean Reystayn's Tanks Of World War II (Hitoire & Collection)
