I am having a problem with my airbrush. I was going to paint my 1/32 academy F16 when the pressure on the airhose (end by the airbrush) was extremely low.
The pressure by the compressor was alot but by the brush was very low?
does anyone know what might be wrong. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Can you describe your airbrush-compressor setup? There a few possibilities though: -

1. Hose is clogged;
2. Leak on hose or fittings connections;
3. Air pressure regulated to low settings on pressure regulator;
4. Pressure regulator fault; or
5. Airbrush clogged.

I just cleaned the airbrush. If the hose is clogged I can't figure out how it got clogged. I can't find any leaks and this was the first thing that I thought of. The pressure was around 20lbs and I lowered it to around 10 still same problem. As far as I can tell everything is tight.
I have a friend bringing over a couple of hoses tomorrow night after work. We are going to test them to see what the problem might be.'
Thanks for your response, it is greatly appreciated.
