Well, what could be better then a beautiful sunny summers day... All the chores are done, a roast is turning on the grill.. SWMBO'ed is relaxing and I'm thinking that its time to head to the dungeon.. I've got Tiger tracks to build... Down I go... Try a few weathering techniques.. Well, that worked ok..I'll let the test peice dry and go from there...
So I get set up for my first set of indy Tiger track links.. get the supplied jig all ready..have my pile o' links ready and the glue is ready...Set out a run long enough, or so I thought, for the jig.. But wait.. Im one or two short.. But I thought ahead and made up a few shirt 5 link sections... Reach for one.....Bottle of glue dumps all over the cutting pad and in a heartbeat, it runs into my pile of links...
Well, next stop is the Dragon website to see if I can purchase a new set of links.. If not, then it might be time for me to try my hand at a set of Fruils... SWMBO'ed laughed....Alot....... She feels bad for me... Wait till she kills another house plant... Vengence will be mine...
This is what I'm left with

And how did your sunday turn out? :-)

Dave, I suffer with you. Only mine wasn't glue, but a bottle of Vallejo paint with a clogged top. Squeezed a little too hard and, suddenly, my WWII US para was coated in the red meant for his shoulder patch. Looked like the guy next to him took a direct hit from an 88. Otherwise, paint everywhere. Oh well, thank goodness it was just a water cleanup.

Dave
That really sucks I guess there's no way to reclaim those links? I take it the glue ruined them too much?

Oh my, I know how it feels, I also had my share of misfortunes and I know how it feels. Don't throw them away, because in the future, you might be able to out them into good use such as dioramas...

Cheers

It was a dark and stormy night... :-) (not really, but it sounds good!)...the wind blew the windowshade above my worktable which in turn knocked over an open bottle of paint cleaner (acetone) which poured directly into the fighting compartment of an Italeri model Priest I had just finished building. By morning most of the interior had softened and melted

Hi there Mojo,

what? you mean you drop superglue on the links?? man, that was serious!! Perhaps it is a good excuse to tell SWMBO that we need a new expensive indy links..haha

my sunday turn up well at the beginning...the wife is relaxing, the kids is sleeping...so take my airbrush a paint my next project.....suddenly i heard a hissing sound from the compressor....but the pressure is still good
after carefully exermine my compressor, i found that the hissing sound came from the relief valve compartment...take a while to open and dismantle the relief valve... there is a plastic plate at the back of the valve...and there were 2 cracks (small) along the hexagonal shape plastic... this is the leak source...
so i guess i have to stop airbrushing while getting the spare parts and i dont know if there is a spare parts for this!!!

i hate this when u're in the middle of something it happen!!
now all of the part had been dismantled....
damn!!!

Diorama accessory,Diorama Accessry!
That can be painted a bit rusty, and blackened, and placed infront of,or slightly under a burned out tiger.

After sustaining a disaster of that kind once before I glued my bottle of Tenax to a 4x4x1/8 square of resin from an old sci-fi kit. Real hard to knock it over now.
