Hi guys, I know there are some small problems, edge of tracks and cracked ground work, and no mud piled along the side of the track...but I wouldn't have time to finish so I have to submit it as is...which is 99%...Hope you like what I have.

Hi Steven... it looks great!
Nevermind it's 99% complete.. it still looks like a well used MkIV. I always wanted to get one of this but just couldn't find it in the LHS over here... what kit is it?

Steven,

I like the model very much. I also like the trench in the dio; specially the wooden 'flooring'. It's very convincing!

Paul and Scott,

Thanks guys, I'm glad that you both like it. I kind of like how the trench turned out as well. It was more of a happy accident I think than anything else. :-)

Seems like mr. Warship himself is actually very good at Armour/AFV as well :-)

Great work Steve, you can be proud at yourself!

Thank you Martin...but the truth be known...I began building with armor...the warships are a new venture..and I know very little about them.... Don't tell Rui.....

Thank you also Pedro..I am rather happy with how it turned out.

nice work! i assumed this was a 1/35 scale when i saw those pics, i built this one and the male MK iv some years ago, those "runners" over the top were the fiddliest part of the kit, as associate editor/ warships its appropriate that these machines were known as landships!

Thank you! By the "runners" you mean the bars running the length of the tank's top? If so, YES they were! In fact, I broke them off or apart at least six times. I even considered leaving them off I was so disgusted with them.

Thank you again...

A-ha Catch you!!!!

Steve,
Your landship looks very convincing and it shows very high quality work!
Appart from the 1% that you say that you're not comfortable with, I would like to say:
- Excellent groundwork;
- Good layout and arrangement of elements;
- Excellent weathering;
- Very good construction skills:
This is one of those situations that simple is deffinetly better! If I haven't noticed the MM topic, I would be convinced that it was a bigger scale MkIV Female tank!

I would like to add the following:
Get that base wood stained and give it a varnish coat - it will improve the only thing that really needs to be improved!

Now... go back and scrub the deck :-)

Congratulations Steve!! A+

Thanks Skip and Mirko!

I get sort of tickled with it each time I look at it. I am very pleased with the outcome. I have to say, after doing this and as Sabot had mentioned in another post, I do have a new appreciation for braille scale and I think I just might try another one. It was indeed fun!

Thanks again guys

Back to swabbing the deck before Skip has me keel hauled.
