I could use some help.
I have plenty of information on Guam and the battles, but can find no info what so ever on what, if any, markings were on the Stuart Tanks.
They are discribed like this; "only light tanks of the division's 706th Tank Battalion, under Lt. Col. Charles W. Stokes, had landed" and futher on they refer to the "37-mm gunfire".
I've done the normal searchs on the items listed and can find nothing that helps.
I can only guess they used markings normal to Army Stuarts of that time frame.
If Anyone has specific info please help.
Thanks for looking and any help,
Bob

Unfortunately the Stuarts on Guam are nothing more than rusted hulls. I grew up there, and most any WWII relic was either painted over silver (don't know why), rusting, or painted black. I guess it made them look more pleasant.

Thanks Mike, I have those. I might have to go with some kind of combo between them.
And Arnold, just wanted to break my heart didn't ya. Seems to be the going thing about our past, just letting it go.
Thanks for the replies guys,
Bob
