What version of the Sherman would be used in late 1944 and who makes the best kit of it in 1/35? Thanks in advance

Dragon has released a couple of late M4A3s as used during the Battle of the Bulge. One is LTC Abrams' M4A3 76mm VVSS and the other is MAJ Irzyk's M4A3E8. Both would be better and perhaps cheaper (they include some PE and aluminum barrels) in the long run.

I would recommend Tamiya's one. I built the M4 Early Production kit a couple of years ago and found it really enjoyable. Here's an image of it taken from the Tamiya site.
The other one by Tamiya is the M4A3 which i havent yet built. Check it out.

Depends how late 44. I believe virtually every WW2 version would be in service by Dec 44
