Does anyone have a good color to uses with Soviet AFVs in the mid-80's? Preferably in Tamiya or Modelmaster. Thanks

Daniel,
Model Master has:
- Russian Armor Green (Semi-Gloss) #2129 in Enamel and #4807 in Acrylic paint.
But there are many Soviet AFV painted in camo scheme so you have to for color matching.
Hope that helps

Here is my advice:
If you are just hand brushing, use MM Dark Green. best out of the bottle color to start with.
If you are airbrushing, MM Dark Green then mix it 50:50 with Tamiya Khaki and use that for your panel highlights. It will give it a nice dusty but still Soviet green look.

HI
Pick a shade. I have seen greens on T-72 range from a black green to a pale green to a yellowy medium green.
I know this isn't too much help but thems the facts

Have to agree w/ that one, have alot of Soviet photos and nothing looks "standard color".
Good Luck
