The scene is taking place during the battle of the Bulges, in late 44.
The main character is a german sniper, a bad and ambitious guy. he knows that patton's army is coming, so there are soon going to be plenty of "targets". He's waiting for the officers, and why not a general ?
Right now, his problem is the cold outside. So he's entered that house and gone as high as he could, right under the snow and ice covered roof. He's crouching in the room, looking through a small opened window, his gun laid close to him.
There's some old furniture and boxes in the room.

I'll be using a german sniper from the DML box, plenty of balso, some sheet styrene, metal tubing, cardboard...
I've started working on the figure, so the adventure is on !

Imagine the room where dancing lessons take place, full of mirrors. There's a french window slightly opened and a sniper is aiming through it. Is someone interested by this one ?

Does the diorama have to include a sniper? I had an idea for a German soldier leading a draft horse in the snow past the remains of a German truck that had been knocked out and pushed out of the way down an embankment. The hard part will be the 4 x 6 restriction.

No. That was an idea raised early on, so many people are incorporating that element into their dios. The primary theme is the window.

Should be in Fresno soon btw. We are just looking for a house to lease/rent at this point.

The sniper idea is what launched the group build, that's why so many people are sticking to it. Still, you don't have to build a sniper dio !
