I use das pronto (terracotta) to make ground work any suggestions for a better clay that air hardens. Or how to make Das Pronto more workable it is too hard.

Das white is much better. It's made from finer particles and is very soft.

One major problems is most Terracotta tends to cracked as it dries, if too thick and is not very staable so if breaks rather esaily. I have made figures from DS Pronto and other Terracotta clays and now use synthetic clays. If you do have to use terracotta, check for any Das Pronto Websites online, you might fine many sculptors who will share their techniques.

A&B Epoxy Putty, Milliputti, Magic Sculpt, Apoxie, Duro

Most of these can be found online if not availalbe in your local area (Where do you live?).

Right now I perfer Magic Sculpt -- handles well, holds detail nicely, good drying time and ery strong after it air dries.

Hope that helps,

Neill

(All Magic Sculpt or A&B Expoy Putty))
