I am almost finished with my Tiran 4/5-T-55 from the movie "The Beast" and was hoping someone could help me to find out the best way to simulate the searchlight color. Is it silver? white? I have always had trouble with the subject of light colors.

Is it solid resin/plastic or is does it have a recess with clear front? If recessed, burnish foil into it. You don't have to purchase Bare Metal Foil. Any will work. If it's solid, that's a little trickier. You might want to make a canvass cover. Neither white nor silver really look right, but if those are your choices, I'd go with white with several coats of Crystal Coat over the top.
