Hi all,
Next update on my Humvee: I've painted it! My first 3-tone NATO scheme and I'm happy with the results. Hope you are as well
For those who haven't seen my Humvee before: It's the Academy kit build OOTB. Some good and bad things about this kit, but I think you get pretty good value for your money.....
The .50cal is mounted just for the pics, I'll probably replace it. The lights on the front are supposed to be orange but turned out a bit too red, I'll work on this (or hide it with weathering lol)
I'm thinking about adding some battle damage like the Humvee's in Black Hawk Down - bullet holes etc. Also time to make it a bit more dusty
Thanks for looking,
Martin

I will exclude all the typicial criticism of the Academy kit. I've done the red turn lights too, so I know what you are going through. I like the faded tones, they look very used.
Can't wait to see it finished.
Jeff
