Hello World!

First of all, I am pretty new here, although I have posted a long time ago.

Okay, now to the question about Shermans, is it possible for a M4A1 with small hatch to have a high bustle turret in the time frame of D-Day to Operation Cobra to Operation Market Garden? In US Army service?

Well, thanks, I guess!

Hi TankMage and welcome to the site ...I don't think I've ever seen a small hatched M4A1 with a high bustle turret ..The reason they brought out the high bustle turret was because of the larger hatches not being able to open when the turret was turned .. I might be very wrong about this but ...

Thank you for the reply. Too bad I guess. I have all these late Sherman parts sitting in my spares box.

Hey YC:
The stacks of Tamiya M4A3 turrets and tracks are surely the sign of acute Shermanitis if not full blown Shermanaholism.

Your cure? A $1000 voucher at Formations and Tiger Models. LOL

Yikes!

You have successfully diagnosed one of my *-holisms. I am trying to figure out which parts go where to make the most of my stash. Actually, I made it a rule to start building and finishing models before buying new ones.

Im sure everyone of us had this rule when we were walking into the hobby store and purchased several models at a go. :-)

True, true... But this time, I have a significant someone help me keep my promise to myself. I am "movin' in" and space is limited. I guess I have to get a REAL job and "earn" the right to buy more by moving into a bigger apartment!
You know, the funny thing is that while moving, I discovered that I have so many model kits, I actually forgot I got them. So in some instances, I actually have duplicates in my collection! I guess it is this "urge" to not come out of a hobby store empty handed. :-)

Oh dear....moving in with someone into a place with less space?? Thats stopping short of hobby suicide. :-)

Im pretty certain you aren't the first and damn sure you wont be the last on this one. The real question is.....can you bear to part with them and sell them away?
