This is the resin Shadow Battle crab by Warp models. Its a sod of a model because no matter how much C.A glue you use as soon as you touch it bits fall off .As for painting, i swear its impossible to recreate the "skin" of the ship (watch an episode of B5 and you will see what i mean). Ok gripes over, and i am quite pleased with the finished ship.
Sorry about the photos, but as soon as the flash goes near it you lose the "darkness" of it.
Thanks Andy

Looks real nice Betheyn. I've seen a few attempts at the Shadow ships and Whitestars, this is one of the best I've seen.
Try taking the picture outdoors with no flash, even with the black background it shouldn't wash out the ship.

Andy,
I like your model very much. I think the skin looks good; I think it's impossable to generate the effects as in the series as that are images edited (or created) by computer, with all sorts of light-effects and motion.
I think this is indeed one of the best models I ever seen of a B5 alien vessel!
You did a hell of a job! Congrats with the result!

Thanks for the kind comments. It is a challenging kit to paint and i tried a few techniques on it (which all failed :-) ).
It does scare the hell out off my youngest daughter :-).
Thanks Andy
