HI, Read the info. posted over on PMMS the other day on Tamiya's new 1/35 scale French Leclerc afv and I was wondering if anybody has bought this kit yet and what they think of it. I usually do W.W. II stuff, but for some reason this vehicle looks kind of neat, esp. since it has that anti-skid coating molded into the plastic.
Thanks and take care, Sgirty

Larry, I have assembled the kit, but have not painted it and suggest you look at the Leclerc thread on Missing Lynx under Modern Armor. The rear hull plate does not fit well and requires trimming to ensure there are no gaps when you attach the top of the hull. The level of detail is stunning and the fuel barrels and gun tube fit up perfectly. Other than the back plate, there are very few problems and all are discussed in the Missing Lynx Thread. I highly recommend the kit! Buy the PE, as the fuel barrel straps are a must and really add to the look of the kit. Best of Luck. Rich

Hi Larry ,
I've read those topics on Missing Lynx and I find them al little bit " hard" ! I wonder how many of them had really built this kit and finish it before criticize. Well, do you know really a kit whitch is completely accurate ?
