Amphibs!
I was wondering how far everyone is with their entry!
I've worked very hard yesterday on my LVT-4 Buffalo. I'll upload pics later this day. (I'm now at school and the pics are back home...) Going to buy some plastic sheet for the Polsten 20mm which I'm going to scratchbuild (lol...me and scratchbuilding...)
So, what have you done so far?
Martin

Hi Martin,
I'm on the way with my LVTP7A1 interior. Close to the end of it, still some tubing (heat hose I believe) and the bench seats to set in place. I'll post updated pics when done prior to close the "boat".
Exterior and painting should follow to be on time.

Martin,
I posted pics of my LVT(A)4 in the campaign gallery over the weekend. I got some good constructive criticism so I am making a few mods and will post again in a week or 2.

On my T-80 with the deep wading gear on I have completed the main tank and have the base coat on and will probably get around to weathering this weekend. It may be part of a large diorama probably but I think for presentation sake I may make a temporary base for it. It does have the rear deck chopped off and most of the hull since in the dio I plan to have it emerging from the water onto the beach.

Hi,
I'm sorry but deep wading gear is not amphibious for this campaign. The vehicle you build must be able to swim and float. It has to be half boat half vehicle! Deep wading gear is a snorkel to allow tanks to go in deep water but they won't float or swim!
Sorry,
Martin

Hi Martin,
My Eduard Schwimmie is in the painting stage right now. After that, the weathering/chipping has to be done.
Than the addition of the equipment.....

My Weasel is at a standstill at the moment, I need to try and fix the tracks that I screwed up. I think I'll try the method of using bath tub caulk that one of the guys mentioned and see if that works. Other than that, I could have this puppy finished in a week.

Hi All
As you know the LVT is finished and in the photo album. I'm trying to get a diorama going for this but am having trouble setting up a sealed container to do the water in. Still trying and will let you know if I figure out how to do it.

My DUKW w/105 mm howitzer is finished. I just have to complete the figures, add some accessories and weather.

Well, now I've actually ordered the PE set, so I'm a step further along...
Also I've just completed my last correspondence course assignment of the year (Open University) so now I will actually have some free time to do some modelling!
