Except for the luftwaffe set I have them and they are excelent, wel worth the money.
Hard plastic so easy to work with.
I have a different luftwaffe (pilot) set and having seen the box of the one you mention; it is an older set as far as I know and is also hard plastic probably, but are singel possed complete figures, while the other sets are figures that are made up from several parts and can be customized by you.

I've used Preiser figures in the past for a diorama. They are great figures and very easy to work with. The detail is amazing considering the scale. I picked up some Russian tank riders and another set of Russians that are lounging this past week end. I think you will be happy with them should you buy any. "Q"
