Hi there

I'm working on my PzIIIJ still. I am using the kit supplied tools when they look OK, but I also have some PE evil to use. I am working with a Royal Model set of clasps and latches. Does anyone have tips on how to form the handles for the clasps? The clasp itself is easy to make, and the brass is quite easy to form into the correct shape. The little tiny handles I'm not so sure about!

I have some thin tweezers that I used to hold the handle in the middle, then I bent the rest around. I guess I just got lucky in that the tweezers were the proper width.

Hi Nic

I thought of doing that. I bent the clasps themselves like that. I'll give that a shot tonight and see. Man those pieces look delicate, but the Royal Model PE seems easy to bend.

Thanks

Good Lighting and a magnifying glass. I have a combo unit - magnifying lens and light. Without them I would never attenpt PE.

Hi Lieut. Patton.

I use a optivisor type thing. It sounds like I just have to be patient!!!

Cheers

VERY PATIENT

Those clasps take a while, especially if you want them to work.
