I would like to know if there is any producer for Special Force Gaitors 4x4 and 6x6.
These small trucks are usually used for gardenning but are now in service in Afganistan by the Special Forces.
Does any one of your knows where i can find a kit to start the building of such small pieces of equipments

Seb,
Heard of vehicles called Argocats in the British Para's.
But Gaitors?
Any pics to give us a clue?

Don't know of any kits of them out there. Here is what they look like though.
Thay are the military version of the John Deere light yard tractor.
Kind of a modern version of the Vietnam era USMC MULE.

If you don't mind switching scales, we used the four wheeled ATV in Afghanistan quite a bit. There's a pickup truck kit which I've seen in Hobby Lobby that has one in 1/24 or 1/25. You ncan use the Aoshima Hilux pickup to go with it, as we used those as well. The old Ertl British Para Land Rover has Mag 58's which convert easily into M240B's. Still waiting for someone to come out with a 1/24 Tacoma...

The top photo the Gino posted of the Gator with the Chinook is a Canadian one in Afghanistan.
You might want to contact a local John Deere dealer, I am pretty sure they sell diecast versions of at least the 4x4 Quads in 1/32 scale. They might have the 6x6 also.
I have seen the 4x4 version painted as a military version, it looks pretty good.

LeoCmdr is correct. I think John Deere itself has some diecast models, which is probably the best chance of obtaining a Gator.

Hi Seb
The 1/32 John Deere Gator 6x6 can quite easily be found online, mostly at farm toys webstores like for instance http.www.actionfarmtoys.com :
Talking about ATVs, Britains has released a 1/32 die cast model of the Honda Four Trax 300 that is also used by US troops....
