Can anyone tell me if the Wermacht used any camo patterns such as stipes or dots in North Africa? If so, what color were they? I have some pics that show Italian vehicles with camo but I can't find any German that are positivey in North Africa.

i think some german vehicles were painted dark brown stripes or splinter camo, but it was pretty rare....

Crap i have some footage of them in documentaries but they are in B & W so i cant tell if they are camo or not.
The footage shows them still in a dark colour so i dont think they are in the typical desert uniform though.
