Hi, I'm apply a primer coat with grey on the my model (conning tower u-boat). but the questions is.
The base color is white and...Can I have any problems with this primer coat (grey) in order to paint my model with white???
Is probably than the only problem is to apply several coats with tamiya white??

Thanks.

Hi miguel...

there shouldn't be any problems with painting a base color of white over a grey coat of primer. Like you said... if you are unhappy with the first coat of white paint.. you can always apply a second coat..

It would be easier to see your white paint being applyed over a grey primer then over a white resin. I myself would prime with grey and then overspray but you must bear in mind that white is a hard color to spray and you must use only thin coats. Better 4 thin coats then 2 heavy ones.

cheers

Thanks, friends. OK I'm going to apply the grey primer and later several coats to the base coat white, thinner of course.
Thanks
