Does anyone have a picture or drawing of the rear of the trim vane on a BMP-2. Also does anyone know how it is erected and supported when deployed. Any help is appriciated. Thanks

Here is a site with lots of good pictures including some of the vane deployed. Only problem is that it is in French!

As for how it is deployed, my initial guess is that it must be done manually, like on a M113 series vehicle.

Hi Jacques,
it shouldn't be a problem for you member of Big A ! Just post on the French forum the sentences you need to be translated and the community there will be happy to help

I have a translation program I use when I need to, but glad to hear the French community will jump in to help when needed. I understand just enough French to get the jist of what I am reading, but details can be a pain! :-)

That site has an automatic translation button that flashes on the left side of the screen.
It does about 90% of the text.

And then there's Babble-Fish the translation web site.
