Its not often I venture outside the WW2 arena ... but with one look at this, I know I´ll be very tempted. Hopefully they have indy-tracks alternative as I hate trumpeter vinyl. I have the same problems with their tracks as I have with Italeri vinyl tracks .. the paint lift or flakes off!

I would say by the looks of the sag on the track that it is of the one piece vinyl type tracks.

However, since the SA-6 is based on the ZSU 23/4 chassis, MK makes a set of aftermarket tracks for the ZSU which should fit the same on that SA-6.

Considering the only other alternative is the Cromwell resin conversion kit.....this is going to be a much sought after kit!!

Nice kit obviously.
Thanks for sharing this. I don't think I'll build another one (mine is the 5star models one) but it's good to see manufacturers that are not WWII only-minded.

I'm buying 5!! :-)

Looks like a good kit. I have the Cromwell one and, well, there is a reason it was collecting dust. Now I can build a all plastic one and be happy.

I too hope they have the option of plastic and vinyl tracks...would eb a nice change, although the DML plastic links are very nice to work with.

And at the preorder prices I've been seeing- a battery isn't beyond reach

Cheers,

Hi All,
I saw a post recently (over on missing-Lynx, I think) that a company called Trakz have produced a driver's compartment in resin for the 23-4 Shilka. Would it also be accurate for this kit? There's also a metion of a turret interior for the Shilka.
Tom
