Here’s my latest effort. Finished about a month ago thought I'd try something a little different, the scene depicts an early war video and picture shoot for propaganda purposes showing the axis troops on the move, thanks for looking as always your comments are welcome.

Nice diorama. Different is right. I like it, I love the elevation the tressel brings.
If you could shoot some clean crisper photos (maybe even outside) that would work for an OD feature.

Looks really good. I like the vines and the wet look to the trestle.
Try adding a couple directional lights, adjustable deask lamps, for example, to your shooting area to add light and fill in the shadows. .

Really nice job, Ron. Well thought out and laid out. You'll have to tell us what components you used for your diorama material. New cameras are a pain. I'm still fooling around with mine.

An OD feature is an On Display feature. It's an image only deal. On the bottom left of the home page are the last three.
If you have a build diary or write up on the build it could be a full feature.

Hey Ron
Nice work. I like the bridge with the wet stone look to it. The tied up dog adds something to it also. Are those soldiers with cameras from the DML Tiger I kit?

Very nice, I like the vines hanging off of the RR tressle. Great details.

Certainly a different dio. Nice to see something other than reloading/destroyed/ambush dios. I'm guilty of building those too!

This is very, very cool. Indeed sharper pictures would be helpful but even so you have quite a gem on your hands. I really like the rail bridge. Cobble stones look good as well. What technique did you use for that? Split peas or scribing? The vines look good although seem a bit on the thick side. Nice touch with the laundry :-)

hey guys thanks for the replys its much appreciated,
let me try answer a few questions, everything here was scratch built, the trussle was cast in plaster in a form i built using scrap wood and a heavy thick cardboard roll then the brickwork roughly scribed to try show heavy wear, i wanted it to look worn, damp and dirty.
the walls were also formed and cast , i use a lot of plaster in my dios i love the stuff heh .
the vines i made using wire wool streched and shaped and dry fit then i painted it brown and sprayed it down with glue, some very sticky stuff i found at LH then stuck it in place and while it was still wet i sprinked some herbs i robbed from the kitchen and found to my delight that it looked pretty good and easy and cheap to boot
the cobble was done with the split pea method which i need more practice at and the pavement and alley was poured plaster and scribed
the 232 is the old tamiya kit as was the motorcycle and sidecar and the extra figs (not great figs but i didnt think looked too bad overall)
and yes the camera guys i robbed from the dml tiger 1 kit
the lamp post was the end of a paintbrush with some stuff stuck on cant even remember what it was to be honest maybe bits of a pen i think
the rr tracks were balsa wood and the ballast was sand
grass was old grass rope using the plug method
think that covers it hope i didnt bore you to death and thanks again for looking
ron.
oh and also yes i have two more older small dios my first and second actually but i will post them if anyone wants to see them, some people may have seen then fsm some time ago.

Nice diorama, I like the whole composition.
Clearer pictures, and go for the on display, or feature article.

Ron, love the composition, the leaves, everything. It looks really great. I do have one little nit-pick? The walking figure is carrying an MG42. If it's an early scene, should really be a 34? Fantastic work none the less!
