This is an old kit but it truned out ok so far. Almost there I need to paint the figures, and make a base for it.

You've done a great job of that old kit, Robert. The weathering, chipping and dust are well done and the muffler came out perfect. Lots of life coming out of this beast , would look great in a dio.
3 items of concern (small ones) blacken the barrel and In my opinion your chipping on the barrel and mantlet is a little to much ( I know it's so much fun to do :-) ) Lastly, drill out the mgs.
None of these take to much away from a fine modelling job.

Excellent job Robert! I like the finish you've achieved. As said previously, the only nit-picks are the MG barrels need drilling out,and a slight seam on the MG housing. Great effort!

Very nice Robert. Love the camo and chipping.
Ditto what the others said abot drilling out the m.g.
Now go and build a dio for it
Thanks Andy

Hi Robert,
Must be an echo in here. I'd have to say I agree with the others. The chipping is good, but in my opinion a bit heavy around the manlet, as previously stated.
Really like the camouflage job. Very eye catching.
The chipping inside the skirts and the subtle streaking are very nice touches. I'd go

Thats a really nice build there my friend. I have this kit on the shelf ready to do next. I have to agree with the other comments as they are spot on.
I love the subtle weathering you have done with the dusty look. It looks very convincing.
Thats how I usually do most of my models.
Thanks for sharing!

Very nice. I like the subtly faded camo effect. Would this be the Academy (ex-Tamiya) Ausf H with Armor (sic) by any chance? I've just finished building one, with my first attempt @ home-made Zimmerit. Awaiting paint, will post some pics sometime (anytime, never?!). I notice you've seperated the armour plates out on one side. I did all mine, & gently bent the corners of some. The turret extra armour was well nasty on mine, the main curved plate was warped. But yours look good. Just shows what can be achieved with an old kit.

Ola Robert
Well it seems you have made something nice of this vehicle...... If it is the Academy (Ex Tamiya) kit then I have built this one too years ago.
There is as already mentioned a seam on the Coaxial machinegun in the gunmantlet and the Machine guns should be drilled out and next to that it should be gunmetal... (the part of the Coax gun that sticks out next to the main gun.)
Also you should not blacken the barrel too much.... A Discoloration (darker) is mostly enough. The gun is the Tanks life and the crew would make that the gun got cleaned every time they had a chance for it. You don`t want a failing or bad working gun on the Battlefield.
I love your camo work which is very well executed and the Dusting of the vehicle is very nice. I also like the rusty Exhaust. You could blacken the end of the exhaust as result of the smoke coming out of it.
I for one am not too fond of the chips. I think they are too big and they look a bit painted on. What I do like about them is the fact that they are quite random and mostly well placed. Things like the scratches on the Schurzen is a very common type of chipping/scratching that vehicles in those days were picking up. These vehicles were not running around long enough to get that badly chipped
Further a very good job on this vehicle can`t wait for pics of the crew and the groundworks

Thanks for all the thoughts I know will get the MGs drilled out painted, the base and figures should make it look that much better I hope.
