I'm currently working on my DML M4A1 early Sherman kit and looking ahead at the turret, there are two small vertical slots on the back of the bustle. What are these for and is there a part that goes there? I did not see it in the instructions.... but sometimes I can really overlook the obvious.
Thanks

There are some other annoyances with the DML 75mm turret. If you care to look them over, see here:

Number 3 deals with the turret.

Hey Chris! think you'll like the kit, but take it from me having built 3 now (getting progressively happier with the results;) that you'll want to 'tweak' a few things...
Go to enjoy-models.com and on the right of the homepage you'll see a link to a M4A1 tweaks and tips article. This is a wealth of info, and combined with a M4 Sherman Walkaround book for some colour pics, you can do no wrong...
Hope this helps mate. Any other queries, PM me. I can either help or steer you to someone who can
