I got the set of decals US Antenna Flags & Stickers by Echelon, there's 5 different sizes of Stars and Stripes. And 3 different sizes for "flying" on antennas or mast.
I should think that the smallest and most flags "facing both directions" are shoulder patches.
Talking specifically of the stars and stripes..My questions are:
Do US tankers in OIF sew these (shoulder patches flags) on their Alice packs (and other bags?) Or do they use the larger ones ? (15 on this sheet)
What about the other flags? Any advice on where which would go.
Thanks in advance

I'm not a tanker, but in reference to your question as to where others would go, they're often velcroed to the back of our helmets (we don't use the cammo cover) and to the front of our body armor. There was a time when you'd see the subdued flag on the body armor, but it's no longer authorized, although many have been "grandfathered" in. It's a violation of flag etiquette to display it in any other than its original coors. No one I know attaches it to any piece of kit. Not at 4 bucks a pop.

I have a 5" x 7" flag sewn to the flap of my ALICE rucksack, along with one of my name tapes. Makes it easy to identify when there are 300 rucksacks in a pile after being offloaded from an aircraft or truck.

Well, make that that one person now. Of course, there are only twelve of us, and when we "offload" our stuff from an aircraft, , it's still attached to us with an HPT lowering line.

5" x 7" flag..that'll make it the size of the other flags I don't want to use (saving them for something else)
Was thinking of spicing up my 7 M1Abrams by adding couple of flags on the selected alice packs,15 total. I want to use those shoulder/arm patches flags.(those of echelon's smallest I was talking about).Would that be ok?
What's HPT???

You can always photocopy them or find an image and scale it down to size and print them out on decal paper. I haven't done this before, so maybe others could lead you in the right direction.

What's HPT???
Hook Pile Tape, which is Velcro. Generally a term used by the same kind of guy who says"at this particular point in time" when he means "now."
Unfortunately this and several other terms are required knowledge to pass JM school.

Yes, they work in a little room in the sub-basement of the pentagon. They also work for Military Intelligence, or so I'm told. They've cornered the market on oijui boards and chicken bones, I've heard that they even have Miss Cleo on retainer.........

OK but seriously, someone tell me where I can put the other echelon flags (minus the smallest and second smallest) on OIF vehicles. ...at a checkpoint or a vehicle at a checkpoint? Can vehicle crew simply fly the flag on their antenna masts? Or are there certain rules?

Yes, the crew can simply fly the flag. There is not any place, other than the right shoulder on the uniform) that has to have a flag.
Put them where you want.
