A few weeks ago, I have submitted this picture (found on Webshots.com)that had been taken in Iraq and I was wondering what it was :

and now I've just came across another Webshots picture from Iraq that could be related to the one above . What do you think (both original captions do not help )

Here's a link to the album this one comes from :

Any idea of this variant user (in Iraq at least ) ? Pakistan has been mentionned in the first thread....

TIA

Found this link on Goggle talking about naming the 113 after Gen Gavin. The pics don't match but there is a 113 with the sloped hull and a cannon turret.

Good job finding the additional picture.

I'm sticking with my original assertion that it's a Pakistani Talha but it looks like it has the TC shield from the Saad:

I've read something about Saudi Arabia looking into buying the Saad but it's got an extra set of roadwheels.

Cuncur that it is the Talha, with added armor for the TC.

The only question that remains with me is where the gun ports went. The photos I posted show them but the ones Frenchy posted don't show them anymore, only some remains inside.

As to the gun ports, probably the same as was found on the Bradley, they are ineffective and were removed/ covered over.

So it seems that at least one half of the mystery is solved ! The other other half being the user of this AFV in Iraq. AFAIK Pakistan has not send troops to Iraq....

Thanks to all for the inputs !

I noticed on this picture

that they have no periscopes. If you look close, you notice this on the interior pictures as well. Strange.

Could it be Korean? South Korea has/had troops in Iraq.

Looks a lot like the mortar carrier version of the KIFV/K200 albeit stretched (check out the wheels spacing).

Cheers,

Christophe

Not a K200, different hull shape and they don't use the strethced ones either. It is definitely a Talha varient.
