Hi all
Thought i would post an update on the old bridge.I have made some more snow covers i was going to score the panels omn the balsa but i think its a better effect with them done individualy pain in the a--s but looks better.
I have made the coping stones i will texture the edges on both sides as they will all you see when the snow covers are attached.
They are made out of balsa ,sanded and scored then cut with with as razor saw ,you all most cut right through ,that enables you to get the bend on the walls of the bridge entrance.
Any feed back would be great i use the figure as a scale guide a little tip from Cheyanne i keep holding the figure against the item iam building and if it looks right go for it,i think its worked so far....i hope
Cheers Chris

Hi John
Thanks for the feed back, as i have never dine the cork routine before i thought i would use it in my next project.
What i did with this effect was i bought some Plasti cote Fleck stone from AC Moores and thought i would give it a go,i tested it out on something else messed about for a bit to se how i could work with it was pretty pleased with the result so held my breath and went for it.
I then stipled the effect with an old brush, ley it dry for a while helped it along with my wifes new hair dryer.
I have givern a couple of washes to it which aere not on these pics will post some more ,and on the whole iam very pleased.
I think this stuff has all sort of appications for dios etc and it paints up real good with just enough relief for sutble dry brushing, this one is called Santa Fe Sand they have all sorts of colors
I have started a bit of depth work on the broken wall sections and getting my ruble together so to speak.
I want to put some stains on the bridge which will have worked there way over time from the wood snow cover.
Some people might sat theat the bridge is not very wide, but from research of the battle you could just get 4 men sort of side by side thats why it was such an awful place to cross sort of like a funnel hard to imagine
Cheers Chris
