Hi all

Had a day off to day thought i would give the bridge some more work.
I think iam quite pleased with the effect so far .
The first picture where the white is i want to weather that to look as if water has been leaking through the stone work., which i think will give a nice effect.
I have only done the start of the washes on the damaged area but its coming along
Any feed back would be great,Cheers Chris

Hi Guys

Yea it was the battle of Antitum, no i dont think iam going to be able to put both in the same dio it would be bloody huge i have had to cut part of the bridge at an angle to give me more room for the other bits.
I have to put a resin river in CSA behinde a 5 rail fence and try and get some traditional walling in along a road ,bloody hell i will be flippin 90 when i get this done...lol lol lol

I really like the area of the bridge where it appears water has been streaming down its sides. Did you literally pour thinner down the sides to get the most natural looking water stream?

Very nice bridge!

Hi Jazza

As luck would have it the joint where the front of the bridge was joined and flares out in a way lent its self to what i wanted to create ,there are loads of bridges around here in Delaware very similar and they all seem to have these little spots where the water seeps through i .
What i did do was score around the bricks a lot more than the others giving that depth and relief spread some more spackle..like poly filla quick drying and with a pallet knife keep spreading it clean it off then do it again untill you get the effect you want.
When thats done i have to buy and paint about 16 figures and land scape it,i must be bloody mad...lol lol but i love it,even if it is 1am
Thanks very much for the feed back .
Cheers Chris Give my regards to NZ lots of family in Christchurch
