Very nicely painted bluebird, goldfinch and bluejay. If you're dio will be in Europe, none of these birds are found there. The crow/ravens would fit, however. I'd suggest finding a field guide to European birds and using them as models from which to paint.

I think I heard Kevin's "DOH" from here.
But they are very nicely done critters.
Cheers,
Jim

Guys thanks for the comments. Robert the squirrels and small birds come from a place called daffodils, the crows are for O scale railroad stuff. Hmmmm Al thanks for the heads up I totally forgot to think about european birds I guess I can repaint them to resemble something from over there lol I'll keep you posted with what I come up with. Wonderful stuff Kevin !!
I would love to see the colorful birds in a diorama...they really spice up the scene with their colors.
Perhaps, when there's water in your diorama, you could do some icebirds or otherwise some cock robins.
You did a smashing job on those critters !!

With the risk of being totally wrong as I don´t know that much about birds, but at least the first and second bird looks enough like birds I have in my garden sometimes. And I live in Sweden!

nice critters. What about those lovely figures you painted? Can hardly see them!
I can see the attention to detail you did on the squirrel. Did you paint it as per normal or did you have to use a magnifying glass?

These are some great animals. They even look much cuter in person. The best part about them..no work involved..they arrive just as you see them here. Im just trying to figure out how to steal them away from him..lol..

Hi everyone. I guess somewhere the wrong idea came out. I "did not" paint these birds and squirrels. They all come prepainted. I will however do some work on the crows and possibly repaint the song birds a little to make them fit the euro surroundings better. I am really happy everyone is liking these "critters" so much, that means I am heading in the right direction Cheers Kevin
