No pictures at the moment but everything coming along really well! For this project I chose to do Tamiya's German Soldiers with Bicycles kit. I am building a small base for them. It is a cobbled road with small section of sidewalk. I plan to add a lamp post on that for added interest once it dries. My first attempt cracked, so at a friend's suggestion I used a bit of cardboard to make the walk. Looks good so far.
I did a camo pattern on the bicycles rather than keeping them the solid color. They are done and waiting for someone to ride them, and the base.
The soldiers are just about done except for the faces- I just need to add details to those - then putting all the elements together to show a completed entry.
tomorrow the base should be ready enough so that I can "test fit" everything and i'll snap a few pictures and post them.

Lovely idea

If you need a bit more time, let me know. I'll gladly add some more days to the deadline.

here are in-progress photos - no heads yet! since these photos were taken, i cut bricks into the sidewalk and added a little moss in the cracks. as of bedtime last night, the hands and faces were painted. now i just have to attach gear to the bikes and secure everything down and i'll be done!

This is a great little scene. The newspaper is a nice touch, --everything looks very natural--congrats.

Perhaps painting the edge of the dio base a universal color all the way around might add a nice finishing touch to this fine effort. Well done here.

Looks good, reminds me of a photo i have somewhere of German troops late in the war using any transport available too get to the front line, they had panzerfausts strapped to the bikes.
