Hi,
I just noticed that AEF designs also has an EAAK conversion for the Tamiya AAVP7A1. until now I had assumed the Hobby Fan conversion was the only game in town. I haven't been able to find reviews on either. Has any one built up the AEF set or the Hobby Fan set? How do they compare to each other?
Thanks,
Mike.

I know this isn't what you're asking, but sight unseen, having built many kits from both companies, go with Hobby Fan. Their quality is light years ahead of AEF.

I have both kits and have not yet built either one. However after looking at both kits I would strongly suggest the Hobby Fan kit. It is quite a bit better in both quality and ease of build. I will build both but the AEF will take considerably longer due to the way it is laid out

Just going to echo what has already been said. Take the Hobbyfan over the AEF. Having built or should I say attempted to build some of the AEF offerings, I can't really reccommend them at all. QC seems non-existant. Just my .02 worth. "Q"

Nice pic, I sure could have used it about a couple of months back!
Wonder what the circular thing on the turret is, just behind and to the left of the hatch? And another one just in front of the driver. Maybe GPS recievers?
Cheers,
Jim
