just wanted to know if anyone might have a clue on how to build
some[UK] airborne cotainers in 1:35th as the wife has now put
me on a budget,otherwise id go for the reicast ones....
PLEASE HELP.............

Are you talking about the British flavor?
They would be easy - CD makes a set (AM Resin) - if you want to scratch build them. They are simply a tube about 2" long by 1/3" in diameter (or so - off the top of my head). Some detail etched on - I can measure them in more detail later for you if you want.

You could use sculpy clay, milliput, dowelling, styrene, ....

They are 50mm long and 10mm in diameter. One end is a .5mm 'coned' end. The other end is flat and looks like it is a cloth cover.
There is a bracket centered along the back side. It is shaped like an H with the cross beam running the length of the tube. The two vertical bars of the H go from the center of one side to the center of the opposite site. The length of the cross beam is 12mm long.

Id love to but she cleans up all the mess i make while
working at the dinner table.
Anyway thanks for the info slodder .
I also forgot to ask about the WICKER baskets that the
Airborne used at Arnhem,anyone have a clue on how i
can SBuild some.
