thought this might be of interest to some of you guys,
behold an inflatable T72
ive just got back from an exercise on Dartmoor where we used this and a similar decoy of a BRDM 2 as enemy vehicles.
We had blokes dressed in soviet/UK desert uniforms with foreign weapons patrolling around these.
they were borrowed from the RAF, so im unsure of their original purpose
photos arent great as they were taken on my mobile phone, but ive got loads of others on a digi camera if anyone is interested

We use them for training bomber and close air support crews, providing a semi realistic ground picture when streaking along at low level.

If I'm not mistaken a "bloke" is the English term for "guy".It helps when most of my family is of English back ground. :-)

I have also seen pics from Iraq during ODS where the Iraqis used cardboard boxes and tubes to create everything from T-55s to SCUD missile launchers. Very interesting stuff. Thanks for posting.
