Hi guys
This is my new project
This one...
...will be converted to this one.
It is an upgraded M 577. It is almost only the external looks which is still "577". Everything inside has been changed. The vehicle has got a MG 3 and smoke dischargers for protection. It is still a command post vehicle. I have to make all conversion parts my self, since it is a Norwegian built vehicle, and very few are in service. Don't expect much trouble since it is mostly square boxes and a new generator which need to be added. I'll keep you posted on the progress.
Cheers
Erik

Well I have started the build, and here are a couple of "In progress" pics. I'm using Fruil tracks for the first time and I must say I am quiet amazed by the realisme in the track links. That said, I used only 60 tracks on each side. On the real thing it is 63 and 64. Pics are from the test fitting and I have to say the tracks looks pretty damn good compared to the "rubber bands" which comes with the kit
Cheers

Btw I will try to remove another link to achieve an even better realisme, but I'm not sure I will be able to close the tracks then.
Edit: Yes, I now the drive sprockett is badly aligned. It was a dry fitting and is fixed now.
