I have been gone for a while now and I am back. I am doing a couple of dioramas and I am looking for the small things such as water bottles, coke pepsi cans, coolers magazines. I guess the question is do I have to scratch build all of these or can I buy them. I do not have the means to hop on a CPU and make images and shrink them and the print very fine scale. So what can I do?

If you need a lot of them then buying them maybe a more easier option. I maybe able to help you with the coke can if you don't need too many. Just used the aluminium foil found in disposable baking trays. Wrap them round a suitable diameter tube. Cut a small circular foil for the top and paint. You only need one top if the can is sitting upright.
I must warn you though you can almost go blind making too many of them.

I like to use cut pieces of plastic sprues about the proper diameter and paint the ends silver. If tou want Coke you paint the sides red with the white squiggle. If you want beer you paint it white with red rectangles like a Budweiser can. It's not as crisp as pre-printed but if you bundle them up in a six pack configuration it looks pretty good when mixed among MRE cartons

Verlinden has a "Super Value" kit containing lots of cans, crates, bottles and the lot. Furthermore Verlinden has some magazines, papers etc. Have a look.
I use to do a google - make a search for what youre looking for - perhaps that'll help. I was looking for some Yanks magazines, and I found them through google - useful stuff anyway.
Good luck with it

I find TONS of neat stuff at the local DOLLHOUSE shop in my town. Lots of things that are 1/48 and 1/24 scales really work well... for example, a champagne bottle in 1/48 scale looks like an exact 1:35 scale wine bottle... take a look in your local yellow pages and see if there is a shop in your area... lots of other cool stuff like wallpaper, windows, shutter, picture frames, etc. are readily availalbe.
