There are some very talented modelers out there... but "God / Nature / Evolution, you name it!" is still the best diorama builder I've seen the work of!

Wow thats one ambitious starter-project!
Looks nice so far, but be sure that there is not too much unused space in it after itīs finished. Otherwise it could become boring to the spectator.
Dude, 1/72 is not a scale.

Looks great! What are you going to include in the streets? Just a word of caution, try not to allow much dead space. I know when i first started diorama making i always made my bases way too big, and didnt really have the skills to accuratly and realsitically fill in the dead space. Good luck and keep us posted.

That is one big layout. Looking really good so far. Quite a lot of paving to be done here.
