This is the Tamiya Panzer II Ausf F in a worn winter paint scheme. It is basically out of the box with a few scratch built details here and there. It is painted in Tamiya acrylics, and weathered with oils and MIG pastels. I thought it turned out decent overall considering I haven't built in almost 2 years. I picked up the base from a model show, it's from SB Scotia. The snow is from Citadel. Any and all comments are welcome.
Cheers,
Ryan

Karl thanks for the compliment. I first painted the tank in Tamiya panzer Grey. Once it was dry I used Vallejo paint mask and applied it on high traffic areas with a torn up Scotch Brite pad. Once the mask had dried I sprayed the tank with Citadel Skull White paint. After the paint had cured, I removed the mask carefully by rubbing my finger over it. Then weathered the whole project. Overall it had a great effect. I heard you can also use Humbrol Maskol paint mask. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers,
Ryan

Ryan this has turned out well! Think that you have shown an even 'worn' look, highlighting the lack of quality of whitewash paint... The dio base sits just perfect with his size subject
