Hi guys

Does anyone know what vehicle was used by UK forces during the fighting in Africa during WWII for Recon duty ? I'm not thinking about LRDG or SAS forces, this would be more for a advancing unit. I know some UK units were short of vehicles. In fact thats part of the idea behind a dio I'm working on. { UK troops trying to get a Opel Blitz running} Problem is I need a way to show how the troops got there. As the story goes they are part of a recon force out front of the British army thats chasing the desert fox across the desert. They have come upon a broken down Blitz and are trying to get it running.

It is a good enough to fit near a Blitz whilst keeping the dio small(ish)
