Good job on that. Are those the kit tracks and barrel? I have this kit and am debating replacing those items.

Great paint job! Is this build straight out of the box? Is the fire extinguisher suppose to be red? The figure is very nice too.

Nice paint job and weathering give it a great overall look.

Is there an aftermarket metal gun barrel for this kit?

Hi, I'll have to add my two cents worth and say that I really do like what you have done with this kit. Your weathering, at least to me, is top notch. All that shadowing and shading looks really great.

As a couple of others have asked. Is that the kit barrel and tracks? I've heard it said that the tracks from the kit fit pretty darn tight, and have been debating about getting a replacement set for mine.

I think there is an outfit called World War II Productions that makes a resin replacement tracks for it, but I've heard they are pretty darn hard to come by. The guy I talked to out at R and J told me he was trying to work a deal with the folks at Fruilmodel to get a single set made from two sets for the Pzkpfw 1 Ausf. F it takes to complete one complete set for this kit.

And am waiting too see if he can get one of those fabulous turned aluminum/brass barrels from ArmorScale too.

Once again, great workmanship there. You have provided one poor child with much needed inspiration when, and if, I evern get around to mine.

Take care, Sgirty

You did a great job on this vehicle.
The only comment I have is that the MG 40 (??) isn't that convincing at realism, sorry to say but that is my opinion.

Hi Coca,

After I saw your work I can't help but go out and buy this kit myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

How do you make your plastic track to sag like that?

If anyone else know please let me know. I really like to build the track out of the box.

Excellent work on your Sturer Emil kit !! You have done a nice job fading the overall Panzergrau, and the weathering looks awesome. Crew figure is perfect for the "Emil".

You did a great job with the photogarphy too, and many of the interior shots will be very helpful in building this kit.

I have one of these I have been working on myself, so I appreciate the motivation after seeing your Emil

Oustanding !!

Cheers !!

Hi guys, thank you very much for your comments and kind words.
I build this kit totally out of box, of course with some minor enhancement like the hooks, jerry cans, tow cable, helmets and etc. I used pins to make the tracks sag just like the old fashsion way.
Thank you

Red fire extinguishers were a post-war color. German WWll extinguishers INSIDE the vehicles were green, I believe. And a better job could have been done filling the joints of the gun-breech construction. Over-all, it's a very good build.
