This is my latest project - T-34/85 just after battle of Berlin end. Now it's perfect time for captured german cigarette
I used Dragon T-34 mod 44 which in fact depicts early 45 production model. Added Aber PE and Armorscale barrel, both sets are perfect and very useful. Crew is from Tristar.
Hope you like it.

Great dio...the only thing I don't like is the color of the street cobblestones...All the ones I've ever seen are a dark gray in color. Now on the whimsical side, I think it would have been cooler if you had them sharing a bottle of wine or better yet...."Now its Miller Time"

Very nice dio Piotr.
T 34 and figures are great.
Steve is right about cobblestones.
I would also add some mortar to bricks. It will make your wall look more realistic.

Pozdrawiam

Thanks for your comments!

I don't think it may be called 'dio' it's just tank on the base. My camera changed all colours a lot, anyway cobblestones and bricks are not perfect. I've tried some new techniques with mixed results. Maybe I should make new base but I'm too lazy :-)

Nice but i don't get the title of this diorama . "...in tiergarten" It doesn't look like a part of a zoo.

More info please

I believe the Tiergarten also reffered to the area around the Zoo in Berlin If my memory serves me the area had a nice park with a small lake and lots of small cafes.

What did you use for the debris again?

Nice looking Dio overall.

As Steve said Tiergarten is also called a park around ZOO but in fact this title hasn't any additional meaning. ZOO in Warsaw has very similar type of fence so when my base was ready my first impression was: it's ZOO! I wanted to show tank from battle of Berlin so Tiergarten was my choice
Wall and debris is made from cork It was my first attempt for this material but I'm quite happy with results, it's really easy to work.

Outstanding piece of work Piotr. The weathering of the T-34 looks incredible. The base and figures look great as well.

Excellent work on your T-34/85. Base looks great, and so do the figures. Makes for a perfect little diorama.

Is the gate and brickwork from Verlinden, or did you make it yourself ?

Keep up the good work, Piotr

Cheers !!

A very fine thing you've done. Congratulations. I like the figgies...seems like Tristar make useful figs.

Good work

Very nice Piotr! If your camera is not giving true colors then I would say the cobblestones are fine.Only suggestions I can add are maybe a litlle more dry dusts and dirts on wheels and running gear. The fencing color is a little too even and some rust would help a little there. The wall could definitely use some mortor color and be darker overall. This is a very old part of the city. The upper parts of the T-34 and the figs are really well done.Great job!
