My entry is done. I sort of blew off adding any update photos since finishing the cockpit. I was trying to get it done in time for our local model show and contest. Sorry.
It did take 3rd though. Out of 3 entries in the category, I do believe! :-)

Might I inquire to the history behind it (not for the F-16, but for your choosing the F-16)?
Also, what squadron is this?

What's your connection to the airplane?
Looks good, congratulations on win, even for third out of third, a win is still a win.

Maurice and Jeremy--Thanks! I hadn't done an airplane in years and felt kinda daunted by it. It came out a little 'dirtier' than I wanted, but I can live with it.
Jeff and Robin,
Are ya ready for a long answer as to my F-16 connection?
I am currently an F-16 Avionics Intermediate Shop technician, (AFSC 2A071B). Which means I work in the ‘back shop’ repairing the ‘black boxes’ removed by flight line avionics technicians when problems are encountered by the pilots during missions, or by the technicians themselves during operational checks on the ground.
I have been stationed with F-16s at Moody AFB, Georgia; Kunsan AB, Korea; Hill AFB, UT; and Aviano AFB, Italy.
This plane is from the 22nd Fighter Squadron of the 52nd Fighter Wing based in Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. I have never been stationed there, BUT I did spend 5 years at the F-16 Depot at Hill AFB where I worked on parts from every F-16 in the USAF inventory (Block 5 thru 50) and a whole lot from Foreign Military Sales and prototype/experimental aircraft from Edwards AFB and other places.
This model was built for a friend of mine who was a flight line avionics technician there. I even made a custom decal--her name and rank on the starboard side of the canopy where the crewchief's name goes.
She was a little excited at how the kit came out and took this picture of her display at home.
