Hi Guys,
After a long wait, I finally got my copy of Trumpeter's SA-6. I was quite excited to have the kit that I started building it the same evening. So far, over all shape and fit is good. Decals (national insignias, vehicle numbers, but no unit markings) are supplied for former USSR, GDR, Czech vehicles, and Polish vehicles.
Enjoy the pics
Despite careful fitting, there are gaps under the launchers.
Sink holes need to be filled at the back of the drivers visors.
There are also gaps to be filled infront of the missles.
The flaws are really minor and nothing to worry about. I'm really glad that Trumpeter came out with this kit. As of the moment, I still have to assemble the tracks, finish sanding the missles, and add details to the hull. I will add more in-progress pics in the future.
BTW, can anyone point me to any on-line reference site. Your help would be appreciated

That is a neat looking vehicle. I wonder if they have plans to issue one in 1/72 scale?

Thanks Sabot,
I'm a Braille scaler myself but I just could not resist getting a 1/35th copy. I do hoe they come out in 1/72.
BTW, I also got a copy of Trumpeters 1/72 AS-90 SPG. I'll post pics of it soon.

Are there any retailers in the US carrying this kit as yet? I haven't done a search as yet, just wondering if anybody out there might know. "Q"

Looks very nice - i'd not consider it to be within my normal ambit of WWII Axis stuff, but anything that has three pointy missiles is going to merit investigation!
Anyone know when LuckyModel might start carrying this one?
Can't wait to see it finished, Wanze. Any chance you might consider writing a review of the kit?

As far as I know Trumpeter has very odd policy regarding their kit distribution to Hong Kong. It is even possible that you will see this kit in your local hobby shop before it is available from Lucky Model... The kit is now available in Phillipines and it will probably be available in Japan later this or next week. Then it will probably arrive to the US.
There is a chance that the kit will also be soon available from HobbyEasy, as they often import Trumpeter kits to Hong Kong (from mainland China or other Asian countries), instead of waiting for the kit to be available from official HK distributors (like Lucky Model do).

That is certainly true - my recent experience with the Trumpeter KVs certainly confirms this...Jim

Appreciate the info, Vodnik. You know, i think you must be onto something, because my LHS had the Trumpeter KV-1's before LuckyModel - and that really is amazing considering that my LHS only just started stocking the Dragon Tiger I Initial in the last month!
Trumpeter are pretty much the only company that I feel OK with purchasing retail in the UK because the value is already so good. Everything else - well there are such huge savings to be made by buying online overseas. I'd never have paid £35 for the Tamiya Chally 2 (domestic retail - no kidding) but Luckymodel can do it for £15, rising to only £20 even if I have it airmailed to me. I figure something is wrong with domestic when it is cheaper to have someone in Hong Kong put my kit on a freaking airplane and send it to me over thousands of miles!
Rant over!

Got this one on standby too. It's next in line after the T-34 and Shilka.
This kit is flying off the shelves at the local hobbyshop. Maybe the built model on the store window had something to do with it. Or maybe it's the USD10.00 price tag . It's so popular that even the rabid flyboys and Braille-scalers (like Wanze here) had to pick up a box or three.
