Hey everyone, below is my first dio base ready for a light sand and paint with a matt varnish.Just a little run down on what the dio will include:
1) A clocktower in the righthand corner
2) Kancali paving section
3) One or 2 light tanks
4) Nine or 10 German soldiers and tank crews
5) Below bottom base, shrubs, grass and 3 or four sneaking G.I's
Figures are currently being painted along with clocktower.Going to glue the paving section down to paint this weekend!
Base was made out of fine wood shaped into a box with an mdf base,
free from my work, paid 4 euros for the wood to give it a framed look.
Thnx again for everyones help and a special thnx to andy007.
Cheers,Shay

!Can anyone help me as in regards to placing the photo under the text?
Forgot to say that the paving section comes in the middle of the base and is then fenced off at the front. The idea being the Germans passing through town, and then below the fence on the embankment the GI's sneaking around ready to ambush.
Cheers,Shay

The dio base looks very Professional, as I am sure the rest of the dio will. Looking forward to seeing the rest finished.
