no.... not the blues musician from Just Shoot Me!.... How would you suggest i make muddy, murky floodwater? I didnt want to buy anything without getting your advice. thanks!!

I use is clear casting resin with a couple of drops of acrylic paint. The more paint I add the murkier the water is.

EnviroTex two part resin is another good product it to can be made murky the same way as mentioned above.

The one I use is called Castin' Craft and I got it at Michael's arts and crafts store.

I bought my Envirotex at the local ACE Hardware store. To make murky water tint it with yellow orchre.

I used layers of clear gloss wood varnish tinged with increasingly lighter shades of a muddy color. Gi_Babycakes you might want to add whatever you decide to use in thin layers if your'e doing a pond or river as the layering with progressively lighter color will give it a perception of depth. I use a combo of khaki, yellow and earth brown. I lighten the combo for successive layers by diluting the color further and adding more yellow. A bit goes very far if your are tinting 'water'.
