Well I finally started the ground for one of my other Welcome To the Nam entrys. This is my first go at Noch wild grass and I wanted to let everyone see if they could give me a few tips. How should i blend in at the edges. At the edge of the grass towards the dead tree jungle will begin. How should I blend that . Does the lay out of the grass look okay. Please take a look at my pics. The wild grass is not glued down yet.

Hi Keenan,
This looks really nice I think. Like the tree a lot!
I don't have any experience with the grass mats you used but I guess you could glue it with PVA, push it into the groundwork and then trim the edges a little maybe and give the grass a lighter drybrush (at the edges) to get less sharp boundaries between the road and the grass.
Hope I make sense

Good luck and keep us posted,
Mark

Thanks for the reply Mark. Ive been looking at other peoples works that has used similiar products and dry brushing the edges a lighter color as you mentioned should blend it together. Just wanted a little more input.

I use the grass a lot on my diorama's you better try to
airbrush it in several light colors of green.

feel free to have a look on my schweren schienen panzer #205 diorama in my photo gallery, you can see the grass on it.

modeling greetings, feelpanzer.

Keenan, the layout looks very good. With the Noch grass it is very bright I agree you should airbrush it different shades of green. Also you might paint it a browner color right up against the jungle areas as this wouldn't get as much light from th ever hanging vegetation. I would also use some shorter grasses(static grass) along its edge to blend it into the road way. Looking forward to seeing this progress. Cheers Kevin
